Cindy Merrilees, a highly experienced elementary teacher with over twenty years of teaching in all grades K-6, received her bachelors degree in elementary education from Florida State University and her masters degree in elementary education from the University of North Florida. She was named Teacher of the Year for her school and school district and was nominated for Teacher of the Year for the state of Florida. She was named Outstanding Florida Educator by the University of North Florida. Cindy trains teachers and presents workshops at regional, national and international conferences. She is also the co-author of several popular professional books for teachers. Cindy's expertise, practical strategies, and enthusiasm keep her seminars fast-moving, enjoyable, and filled with useful ideas that can immediately be implemented in any elementary classroom.
